What are the disadvantages of atmospheric water generators

The installation and operation cost of turning air into water is very high. The ad hoc working group needs constant electricity to operate, and the energy needs are not available in the world's most water-needed regions. Even though some AWG models use solar power, when communities and customers rely on timely production and shipment, relying on solar power alone is not a viable option. Not to mention, the machine is big and noisy.

· The ad hoc working group does not work in extreme climates. The ad hoc working group will depend on weather conditions. Even if there is enough humidity in the air, the condenser of the machine will not work properly in environments where the temperature exceeds 95°F or drops below 40°F. They do not work in dry areas; when the humidity drops below 70%, their capacity will decrease; and when the humidity drops below 30%, they will stop working completely.

· There is no effective way to dispense water from the air water machine. The current AWG model requires the user to go to the machine and then bring the water back. This inefficient distribution system makes it difficult for those who need it most to actually obtain the water produced for their communities.

· The water of the ad hoc working group is easily contaminated. Just like any water source, the water produced by the AWG needs to be treated appropriately. However, if any given part breaks in the AWG, it can lead to bacterial growth and contamination, forcing the manufacturer to dispose of that batch of water. This wastes time, energy and resources invested in the AWG.

· Before the condensation process, AWG will not purify the air. Drinking water from air will inhale the surrounding air without any infrastructure to purify it. This means that the water produced by AWG may be contaminated with pollutants and allergens.

The water produced by AWG has a different mineral content from other drinking water. These essential minerals play an important role in health. As a result, over time, relying on the water produced by the AWG may pose a health hazard to consumers.
